Cancer and Essential Oils

Cancer has no boundaries. It develops in bodies of all ages. Is this due to a defective or weakened body? Yes and no?

Yes, because it is defective and weakened by the body’s never-ending reaction to the environment. No because the body is doing what it is designed to do in order to survive.

When the DNA, our genes, is constantly being notified of potential harm such as chemicals, the body is essentially experiencing ongoing stress. The changes that must occur to keep the body safe and alive stimulate the production of oxidative stress which initiates inflammation. Keep in mind, this is meant to be a  temporary process. Once the threat of harm is gone, the DNA activates the release of anti-inflammatory chemicals, thereby deactivating the production of oxidative stress. Unfortunately, these inflammatory chemicals are being produced in large quantities due to the countless chemicals being used in today’s world as well as misunderstanding that the body is an interdependent system where one thing affects the whole thing.

Parasites and viruses aren’t harmful in a stable environment. However, the human body is no longer stable. While detoxing helps, it does not address the reason for the inflammation or health issues. Toxins produced by the body are not the root cause; they are a result of the root cause … an activated stress response.

However, before saying anything else, I want to say that the following information offered is based on over 30 years of extensively researched scientific information. Besides specializing in the chemistry of nature, the way the DNA operates, as well as how scientists use their discoveries to develop medications, I also continually pursue facts based on my own line of questions as well as those being presented by others. However, what I report does not necessarily agree with the more popular way of thinking. That’s ok. There’s a lot of information not being disclosed and I feel as if it’s my mission to expose it.

That said, what I am about to share here is not meant to offend or alarm anyone. My intention is to inform and provide a different point of view. It does not replace the advice of any medical professional; yet, when
applied with reason, makes a marked difference in the outcome.

This is known as palliative care. We have been given the ability to observe, study, learn and invent which makes all knowledge valuable. Although, when used independently, it is considerably less effective. On the
other hand, when we seek to integrate the various methods with a deeper understanding, we are serving ourselves, family, friends and community in a much better way.

The word cancer makes people nervous. Our minds jump to the worst possible thought; so, let’s take a little different look at cancer.

Cancer cells are essentially the result of changes to the DNA of a human cell. Although science suggests these are errors, I don’t see the body making mistakes. If there is a slip-up, it’s due to the type of information coming in. Believe it or not, scientists are actually suggesting that cancer has nothing to do with heredity or the environment.

While it is useless to blame the environment, the chemicals produced by man are definitely involved as they have the ability to influence genetic activity. With this in mind, the behavior of cancer cells is quite similar
to viruses.

The body is unstable due to the invasive chemicals which initiates changes to the DNA; therefore, the cancer cells begin to ‘eat up’ the surrounding tissues. Although dangerous and deadly, it’s almost as if they are alive and acting in a way that seeks to restore balance by reducing the number of noncancerous cells.

I realize this may sound strange; yet, God designed nature to survive. In fact, a nineteenth century scientist, Charles Darwin, came up with a theory … survival of the fittest. Nothing could be truer. Cancer cells are relentless, appearing almost unstoppable. Up against a normal human cell, it’s easy to say cancer cells are ruthless and stronger; justifying our fears, and explaining why the body seems weak.

What’s worse, our mental and emotional distress complicate the matters because stress is stress and
furthers the production of inflammatory chemicals.

That said, the mind does not eliminate cancer but it sure can improve the way the body begins to recover.

Humans have over 25,000 genes, including such things as transcription factors which regulate chemistry and pathways of communication with the DNA. In fact, one mechanism called MAPK is not unlike a computer processing unit as it monitors the external environment and notifies the DNA of any necessary changes. This pathway is indicated in every health issue known to man.

At the same time, there are other factors and pathways involved. With 25,000 genes, no two cancers are the same, even if they fall into the same category, such as breast, pancreatic or kidney. I tell you this because our culture has a tendency to group natural remedies. In other words, we often hear something is good for cancer.

Keep in mind, every human genome is different and even though medications are far more concentrated and specific in their actions, they are that way because of the various genetic differences. Then again, to include plant medicines supports the entire body and improves the outcome. However, as one plant may be good with one cancer, it does little for another.

For example, there is a compound in feverfew extract called lactone parthenoide. This chemical has been found to slow down a specific genetic pathway linked to pancreatic cancer. Again, it’s not the only solution
but it stabilizes certain factors involved in the development of pancreatic tumors.

Another plant called tinospora cordilolia has been found to effectively eliminate HeLa cells and ehrlich ascites carcinoma in the lab. Both are cancerous type cells that scientists use to investigate various plant extracts. Why? Because according to several research papers over the last decade, cancer cells also adapt to the chemotherapies (sounds a lot like bacteria and viruses) rendering them minimally effective at best; therefore
‘the usage of natural sources as an alternative cancer therapy is thought to have a great value for cancer
control…’.

The same can be said for essential oils and their noted anticancer and antitumor properties. There are certain constituents known to inactivate cancer cells, such as limonene; however, limonene is found in a number of oils. While using a number of different oils is truly good for the body, this only applies to people without cancer. Someone living with cancer and using essential oils must now become very specific with their selections because not all essential oils with limonene are good for every cancer.

In other words, the essential oil selection is determined on a case by case basis depending on medications and other health issues. In some instances, certain oils with limonene are not to be used with antidepressants or diabetes medications.

So, one of the questions sent to me was regarding a tumor on the kidney. While there are strategies for reducing the tumor, it does not necessarily fully address the inflammatory stress reaction causing it.

Clearly, this is a fluid regulation problem. All health issues stem from the introduction of histamine into the system. Histamine is a chemical that is released from the mast cells which are ‘launched’ when the
stress response is activated. This chemical, as I said, is indicated in every health issue, just like the MAPK; however, the ‘game’ changes because of genetic variations, so, one solution does not apply to everyone.

In the case of this particular kidney cancer, the patient is also developing fluid in the stomach. While this is definitely histamine related, it also involves serotonin which also has a role in kidney function

Serotonin, in case you don’t know, is the ‘good mood’ brain chemical and it’s typically the one medications try to control. It’s also indicated in migraines as these have more to do with the gut than the head.

With this in mind, sweet and bitter orange essential oils contain limonene; so does petitigrain. These are the worst choices for this particular cancer / fluid concern. On the contrary, I recommended celery seed, grapefruit, tangerine and laurel leaf. Tangerine is not orange, even though they look similar, the chemistry is very different.

I also recommend a fresh ginger root tea as well as a quercetin supplement. The oils support both kidney and lymph as well as begin to ease the stress response.

I must point out that this individual is not doing much in the way of medical treatments. His doctors have given him permission to pursue whatever he believes is best for him. Had he been doing intense chemotherapy, these oil selections would have been different.

By the way, the fresh ginger root tea helps improve the body’s use of serotonin and acetylcholine in the gut and bowels.

One final thought about lung and breast cancer; although different parts of the body, there is a similar genetic factor involving estrogen.

Please forgive me if it seems I’m repeating myself; however, as histamine levels rise, cortisol is released to balance out the histamine. To keep the cortisol in ‘check’, the body produces aromatase which changes a number of steroidal hormones into estrogen. A typical treatment uses a medication called an aromatase inhibitor. Lung cancer is not limited to cigarette smokers; although, ‘we’ act surprised when a nonsmoker develops it. Therefore, doing what we can to stabilize the stress response and include such things as the following:

Natural Aromatase Inhibitors

1) The essential oil sandalwood mysore

2) The plant mangosteen which comes as a pill or powder

3) Quercetin found in the white part of citrus rinds as well as in artichokes

4) White button mushrooms

5) Celery stalks

6) Pomegranate because they are high in potassium which naturally eases the stress response

7) Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, kale

8) Zinc which is found in pumpkin seeds AND super beneficial for protecting the body from parasites

Improve our chances dramatically … how does your story end?

Do you need to have a diagnosis or family history of these cancers or others?

Absolutely not. Estrogen, aside from certain tumors ‘feeding’ on estrogen, is a stress hormone that signals the need for inflammation. Incorporating these things into a daily lifestyle promises to be very beneficial because oxidative stress is indicated in all health issues, not just cancer.

There’s a lot more to be said about cancer. Please let me know what you’d like me to talk / write about.
